Linux Runlevels and Services

I recently installed Fedora Core 6 in a Qemu virtual machine with only 256MB of memory.  To speed things up, I installed in text-mode.  I did, however, want it to boot graphically (using KDM as the login screen).

I found the answer on the Linux.com site.  The article provided the final piece of the puzzle.
