REBOL Tutorial

Posted on Friday, 2007-January-12. Filed under: REBOL |

I must admit, I have "messed around" with REBOL for many years.  Yet, it has always been more of a "toy" language in my view.  Sure, they had people that did some interesting things with it, but was it something that I could use to write applications that would be used in a small business?  The other thing about it is that it uses an idiom that I still have not been fully able to absorb.

I have not given up on REBOL.  After all, it has an active development process, working toward a 3.0 version later this year, and there are community sites for sharing scripts and tips.  One such tip is this beginner's tutorial on MusicLessonz.com.

If you have never used or tried REBOL, check out this tutorial and see if this is something you can use.  As I have time, I'd like to step through some of the examples, so watch this space.
